Instagram does not notify users when someone takes a screenshot of their story. Although Instagram experimented with a screenshot notification feature in 2018, it was discontinued due to privacy concerns and negative user feedback. Currently, there is no way to see who screenshotted your Instagram story, whether it is a regular story, a "Close Friends" story, or a story saved as a highlight. The only screenshot notifications Instagram provides are for disappearing photos or videos sent in Direct Messages in Vanish Mode, but this does not extend to stories.
