Green Bay, Wisconsin, as a city, covers an area of approximately 55.76 square miles (144.4 square kilometers). Of this, about 45.48 square miles (117.8 square kilometers) is land, and the remaining 10.28 square miles (26.6 square kilometers) is water. The city has a population of around 105,744 people as of 2023, making it the third-largest city in Wisconsin by population. Green Bay is located along the Green Bay inlet at the mouth of the Fox River on Lake Michigan.
