how many hunger games movies are there

There are currently five Hunger Games movies that have been released. These include the original four films based on Suzanne Collins' trilogy, with the last book split into two parts:

1. The Hunger Games (2012)
2. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013)
3. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 (2014)
4. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 (2015)

In addition to these, a prequel film titled "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes" was released in 2023. A sixth movie, "The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping," is scheduled for release in 2026.
