The Facebook settlement will pay a total of $725 million. Eligible U.S. Facebook users will receive payments based on how long their accounts were active between May 2007 and December 2022. The payment amounts range from a minimum of about $4.89 to a maximum of $38.36, with the average payout around $29.43. The highest payment is for users whose accounts were active for the entire 188-month period covered by the settlement. Payments are being distributed now and will continue over a 10-week period.
