To clean Amtico flooring effectively:
- For day-to-day cleaning, sweep or dust with a soft brush frequently to remove dirt and debris.
- Damp mop weekly using Amtico Maintainer diluted with water, a standard string mop, and wringer bucket. Mop in an "S shape," rinse and wring the mop frequently.
- Wipe up any spillages immediately to avoid stains and damage, using Amtico Spillage Remover for tougher spots.
- For light scuffs and marks, use Amtico Spillage Remover with a non-abrasive cleaning pad.
- Annually or as needed, do a deep clean with Amtico Stripper solution: apply, let sit for 10 minutes, agitate with a soft mop or brush, then rinse thoroughly.
- To protect and restore, apply Amtico Dressing (available in Satin or Matt finish) after stripping. This adds a protective layer and helps with regular cleaning.
- Avoid using vinegar or steam cleaners as they can damage the floor.
- Use felt pads under furniture to prevent scratches and avoid dragging heavy items.
These steps keep Amtico floors looking clean and well-maintained without damage.
