To get Segunda in Type Soul, follow these steps:
- Be playing as an Arrancar character. Segunda is exclusive to Arrancar and not available for Soul Reapers or Quincys.
- Reach the Vastocar form by evolving as a Hollow, specifically become a Vasto Lorde and then transform into Vastocar (press Ctrl + K).
- Unlock both Partial Resurrección and Full Resurrección forms.
- Go to the Menos Forest in Hueco Mundo, head down the small pit, and climb one of the large roots to enter a cave with a black sword or orb (the same place where Full Res was unlocked).
- Interact with the sword/orb to start the Segunda quest.
- The quest requires you to defeat and grip 20 players who are currently in their advanced modes (Bankai for Soul Reapers, Full Res for Hollows/Arrancars, Voltstanding for Quincys). You must deal the most damage to their player to count as a grip.
- You can check your quest progress by returning to the cave and interacting with the sword/orb.
- Once you've gripped 20 players in these advanced forms, you will earn Segunda Etapa.
Most players find it easier to ask friends or other players in the game to help by popping these forms so they can be gripped. Joining raids or PvP zones like Karakura Town can also facilitate finding players in those modes for the quest. Segunda offers powerful transformation and is essential for competing at higher power levels as an Arrancar in Type Soul. This process takes some progression time, including evolving up to Vastocar and unlocking Resurrection stages, but it unlocks a strong new form once completed.
