To turn Simple Build off in Fortnite, you need to change a setting in the Game menu. This works the same on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.
Steps to turn it off
- Open the main menu in Fortnite and go to Settings.
- Move to the Game tab (the one with the controller/gear icon).
- Scroll down to the Building section.
- Find the “Simple Build” option and change it from On to Off.
- Apply or save the settings, then back out and load into a match to confirm it’s off.
