The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 was the 20th edition of the contest, held on December 11, 2022, at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex in Yerevan, Armenia. The event was hosted by Iveta Mukuchyan, Garik Papoyan, Karina Ignatyan, and Robin the Robot. Sixteen countries participated, including the United Kingdom returning after a sixteen-year absence. The winner was France with the song "Oh Maman !" performed by Lissandro. This marked France's second victory in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, the first being in 2020. Armenia, Georgia, Ireland, and the United Kingdom rounded out the top five positions.
