The body was found in the front trunk (also called the "frunk") of a Tesla registered to the singer D4vd on September 8, 2025. The car had been impounded at a Hollywood tow yard in Los Angeles, where police were called due to a foul odor coming from the vehicle. The remains were discovered after the car had been left abandoned for about five days. The victim was identified as 15-year- old Celeste Rivas, who had been reported missing since April 2024. Authorities indicated that the body had been in the car for an extended period before discovery.
