where did john wayne gacy live

John Wayne Gacy lived at 8213 West Summerdale Avenue in Norwood Park Township, just outside Chicago, Illinois. This ranch-style house was where he committed most of his murders of young boys and men in the 1970s. Many of the victims were buried in the crawl space beneath the house. After his arrest in December 1978, the house was left vacant and was eventually torn down in April 1979. A new home was built on the lot in 1986, and the address was changed to deter attention to the site.
