On an iPhone, downloaded files can be found primarily in the Files app under the Downloads folder. You can locate them by opening the Files app, tapping "Browse" at the bottom, then selecting either "iCloud Drive" or "On My iPhone," and finally tapping the "Downloads" folder. This is where files like PDFs, ZIPs, and videos downloaded from Safari or other browsers are usually saved. Other types of downloads go to their related apps:
- Photos are saved in the Photos app under Library.
- Music downloads go to the Music app under Library > Downloaded.
- Downloaded apps appear in the App Library, accessible by swiping left on the Home Screen.
If you recently saved a file from Safari, you can also find it by tapping the "Aa" button next to the Safari search field and choosing Downloads to see your most recent ones. If you can't find a specific downloaded file, you can use the search bar within the Files app or browse other folders like "On My iPhone" inside the Files app.
