On an iPhone, downloads are primarily found in the Files app. To locate downloaded files:
- Open the Files app.
- Tap the Browse tab at the bottom.
- Choose either "On My iPhone" or "iCloud Drive."
- Open the "Downloads" folder to see downloaded files.
For files recently downloaded via Safari:
- Open Safari.
- Tap the "aA" button next to the search field.
- Tap "Downloads" to see recent downloads.
Photos downloaded from the internet will appear in the Photos app under the Library. Music downloads are found in the Music app under Library > Downloaded. If downloads are missing, check the Safari settings under Settings
Safari > Downloads to see where files are saved (iCloud or On My iPhone). This approach covers most downloaded file types on iPhone, including Safari downloads, files from other apps, photos, and music.
