The United States Naval Academy is located in Annapolis, Maryland. It is situated on a 338-acre campus on the former grounds of Fort Severn at the confluence of the Severn River and Chesapeake Bay in Anne Arundel County. The campus is about 33 miles east of Washington, D.C., and 26 miles southeast of Baltimore. The Naval Academy's address is 52 King George Street, Annapolis, MD 21402, and visitors commonly enter through Gate 1 near the Visitor Access Center on Randall Street and Prince George Street.
