where is the vulva

The vulva is the external part of the female genitalia, located on the outside of the body between the legs. It includes several important structures such as the mons pubis (the fatty area over the pubic bones), the labia majora (outer lips), the labia minora (inner lips), the clitoris, the vulvar vestibule which contains the openings to the vagina and urethra, and the vaginal opening itself. The vulva acts as a protective barrier and plays a role in sexual pleasure and reproductive health. It is distinct from the vagina, which is an internal muscular canal leading to the cervix and uterus.
