Cam Skattebo played college football for two teams: Sacramento State Hornets and Arizona State Sun Devils. He spent the 2021 and 2022 seasons at Sacramento State before transferring to Arizona State, where he played the 2023 and 2024 seasons. At Sacramento State, he earned multiple honors including first-team all-Big Sky and FCS All-American. At Arizona State, he was noted for his versatility and had a standout career, finishing 5th in Heisman voting and setting school records for rushing yards in a season.
