Charlie Kirk was an American far-right political activist, author, conspiracy theorist, and media personality who co-founded the conservative organization Turning Point USA (TPUSA) in 2012 and served as its executive director. He also led Turning Point Action, a political advocacy arm, and was a prominent voice in the populist MAGA movement. Kirk was known for his conservative activism, particularly targeting college students and young voters, and was a close ally of former President Donald Trump. He hosted "The Charlie Kirk Show" and used social media extensively to promote his views. His activities often involved opposition to gun control, abortion, LGBTQ rights, and included spreading COVID-19 misinformation and election fraud claims. He was shot and killed in September 2025 while speaking at an event on a university campus.
