who made dave and busters

Dave & Buster's was founded by David "Dave" Corriveau and James "Buster" Corley. They opened the first Dave & Buster's in Dallas, Texas, in December 1982. Corriveau managed the games and entertainment side, while Corley handled food and beverages. The two operated as co-CEOs of the company after combining their previous businesses — an arcade and game parlor owned by Corriveau and a bar and restaurant owned by Corley — into one larger venue. The name "Dave & Buster's" was chosen with Dave's name going first after he won a coin toss.
