who made roblox

Roblox was created by David Baszucki and Erik Cassel. They founded Roblox Corporation in 2004 and officially released the Roblox platform in 2006. David Baszucki is often recognized as the primary founder and is currently the CEO of Roblox Corporation. Unfortunately, Erik Cassel passed away in 2013, but he was a co-founder and key engineer in the early development of Roblox. The platform grew from their vision of a user-generated content game platform where anyone could build, play, and share games.
