Larry Ellison has significantly backed Skydance financially, contributing a major portion of the funds for Skydance's acquisition of Paramount Global. In August 2025, Skydance Media merged with Paramount Global and National Amusements to form Paramount Skydance Corporation, with David Ellison leading the combined entity.
