The song "Wagon Wheel" was co-written by Bob Dylan and Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show. Bob Dylan originally recorded the chorus in 1973 as an unfinished demo during the sessions for the soundtrack of the movie "Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid." About 25 years later, Ketch Secor wrote the additional verses and completed the song, which Old Crow Medicine Show then popularized. Dylan and Secor share co-writing credit on the song.
