why do we have ear wax

It gradually moves out of the ear canal, carrying with it trapped foreign particles, which helps keep the ear clean without the need for intervention in most cases. Attempts to remove earwax with objects like cotton swabs can be harmful, as they might push the wax deeper and cause blockage or damage.
