Carlos Alcaraz uses the Babolat Pure Aero 98 tennis racket. He has been playing with this model since the 2022 US Open, and it is an updated version of the Pure Aero VS. For the 2025 season, he made changes by adding 5 grams of lead tape to the throat of the racket to increase the weight, making his shots heavier without compromising mobility. His racket specs are approximately 305 grams unstrung, 31.7 cm unstrung balance, with strings and overgrip adding about 25 grams, making the strung weight about 330 grams. He strings the racket with Babolat RPM Team strings, moving away slightly from RPM Blast to improve comfort.
