Positive Reviews:

  • Enclave is a very unique and incredibly beautiful fragrance. It has a great combination of warmth and icy coldness.
  • Wonderful, soft spearmint, amber, and cinnamon, which later brings in a little vetiver. Absolutely masterful blending here, the harmony of this fragrance is one of the best.
  • Enclave is a sophisticated fragrance that portrays the freshness trapped inside a rich, earthy warm hideaway where land meets the sea.

Negative Reviews:

  • Enclave is a very challenging perfume - unusual, jarring, and ultimately not to my taste at all. Masculine-leaning and with powerful performance, it is quite synthetic - the Amber Xtreme note in the base is really strong.
  • The unusual aromatic accord of the opening is at odds with the balsamic/synthetic amber in the base, and both facets are very strong.
  • Enclave smells like a "designer scent" and is not what one would expect from Amouage.

Enclave is an Amber Fougere fragrance that has a minty cardamom and pink pepper bomb opening. It is a challenging perfume that is not to everyones taste, but it has a unique and sophisticated blend of ingredients.
