Humans are eukaryotes, not prokaryotes. Human cells have a membrane-bound nucleus that contains their genetic material and various membrane-bound organelles such as mitochondria, Golgi apparatus, and lysosomes, which characterize eukaryotic cells. In contrast, prokaryotic cells, found mainly in unicellular organisms like bacteria, lack a nucleus and membrane-bound organelles. Humans belong to the kingdom Animalia, where all organisms are eukaryotic due to their complex cell structure and organization.
