barangay election 2023 campaign period

The campaign period for the 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections in the Philippines officially started on October 19, 2023, and lasted for 10 days until October 28, 2023. The election day was on October 30, 2023. During this period, candidates were allowed to campaign and post election materials within specified guidelines, including the allowable size and placement of campaign materials, the prohibition of giving out items of value, and restrictions on campaign conduct such as no distribution of food or drinks during and after campaigns. Social media and other media platforms were also authorized for campaigning, subject to regulations. A liquor ban was imposed from October 29 to 30, to ensure orderly conduct of the elections.
