Conservative activist Charlie Kirk is being considered to be memorialized on U.S. currency following his assassination in September 2025. Two Republican members of the House, Representatives Abe Hamadeh from Arizona and August Pfluger from Texas, are planning to introduce a bill asking the U.S. Treasury to mint 400,000 silver dollar coins featuring Kirk's likeness. The coins would display Kirk's image along with the inscription "Well done, good and faithful servant," his full name "Charles James Kirk," the year "2026," and the U.S. motto. This would make Kirk the youngest American ever honored on legal U.S. currency if the legislation passes. The final design would require approval by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant and President Donald Trump. The coins are intended to be commemorative legal tender, with production funded through sales to collectors, thus not imposing a financial burden on taxpayers.
