Charlie Kirk was an American conservative political activist, author, and media personality, born on October 14, 1993, and who died on September 10, 2025. He was best known for co-founding the conservative organization Turning Point USA (TPUSA) in 2012 and serving as its executive director. Kirk was a prominent voice in the populist MAGA movement and a leading figure promoting Christian nationalism within the Republican Party. He expanded his influence through various initiatives targeting conservative issues, including Turning Point Action and Turning Point Faith. Kirk was active in conservative politics from a young age, having engaged politically in high school. He briefly attended Harper College before dropping out to focus on political activism. He hosted a conservative talk radio program called The Charlie Kirk Show and was a key ally of Donald Trump, often promoting far-right and Trump-aligned causes. He was a controversial figure due to his opposition to gun control, abortion, LGBTQ rights, and his promotion of conspiracy theories such as the Great Replacement and false claims about the 2020 election. Charlie Kirk was fatally shot on September 10, 2025, while speaking at a public event on the campus of Utah Valley University during his American Comeback Tour.
