Chris Conrad is an American actor born on June 30, 1970, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is best known for his roles as Jason in the TV series Young Hercules, Dennis McClaren in Patriot, and Eric McGowen in The Next Karate Kid. Chris trained at the Piven Theatre Workshop before beginning his acting career. He initially acted in movies like Airborne and The Next Karate Kid and had a significant TV role in Young Hercules. He later returned to college, taught high school, and then resumed his acting career with appearances in shows like Bones and Criminal Minds. Chris is also known for working on projects created by his brother Steven Conrad, including Patriot and Perpetual Grace, LTD. He was originally cast as Adrian Chase / Vigilante in the DC Extended Universe TV series Peacemaker but left the series after filming about five and a half episodes due to creative differences; his role was recast with Freddie Stroma. Chris Conrad is also trained in kickboxing, wrestling, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, holding a purple belt in Machado jiu-jitsu.
