Cream and amber are two different things, so I will provide information on both.

Cream:

  • Positive: Creams can moisturize and nourish the skin, making it look and feel healthier. They can also contain ingredients that help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, such as vitamin C and vitamin E.

  • Negative: Some creams can be heavy and greasy, which can clog pores and lead to breakouts. Additionally, some creams may contain ingredients that can irritate the skin, such as fragrances or preservatives.

  • Ingredients or materials: Creams can contain a variety of ingredients, depending on their intended use. Some common ingredients include:

    • Calendula extract: derived from the marigold flower, soothes skin, calms irritation, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, promotes healing and repair.
    • Chamomile leaf extract: soothing, calming, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial.
    • Vitamin C: strengthens collagen, lightens skin, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, smoothes skins texture, and is an antioxidant.
    • Vitamin E: boosts collagen production, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant.
    • Coconut oil: used as a surfactant/emulsifier.

Amber:

  • Positive: Amber can be used in skincare products as a natural exfoliator and antioxidant. It can also be used in essential oils, muds, and salts to take care of the skin.

  • Negative: There are no known negative effects of using amber in skincare products.

  • Ingredients or materials: Amber itself is a fossilized tree resin, but it can be used in skincare products in various forms, such as:

    • Corundum powder: derived from sugar cane, it is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that exfoliates dead skin cells, smoothes the skins texture, and reduces signs of wrinkles.
    • Bromelain extract: a proteolytic enzyme that is isolated from the stem of a pineapple. Naturally exfoliates and anti-inflammatory.
    • Succinic acid: an organic dicarboxylic acid that has antioxidant properties, relieves chronic skin diseases, regulates the skin’s moisture balance and the activity of sebaceous glands, and stimulates the microcirculatory processes and the synthesis of elastin and collagen, which stops the early signs of aging.
