cytokinesis begins in which phase?

Cytokinesis begins at different phases depending on the type of cell. In animal cells, cytokinesis typically begins during the anaphase stage of mitosis as the chromosomes start to separate. It then continues through telophase until the cytoplasm is fully divided into two daughter cells. In contrast, in plant cells, cytokinesis begins during telophase with the formation of a cell plate that eventually divides the cell into two (animal cells start cytokinesis in anaphase, plant cells during telophase).
