Depending on body mass, a person will lose control of his or her muscles in the range from approximately 6 to 30 milliamps of electrical stimulation. Generally, individuals with larger body mass may require higher stimulation levels within this range to lose muscle control compared to smaller individuals. Lower currents (6 to 16 milliamps) can lead to loss of muscle control, while higher currents (16 to 30 milliamps) can cause severe muscle contractions or loss of control.
