Minoxidil is a medication used to stimulate hair growth in adult men and women with a certain type of baldness. It is available in different forms, such as aerosol foam and solution, and is applied topically to the scalp. The active ingredient in minoxidil is 5% Minoxidil, which is clinically proven to regrow up to 25% more hair in 12 weeks. However, it takes time to regrow hair, and results may occur at 2 months with twice a day usage. For some men, it may take at least 4 months of using the product before seeing results. The amount of hair regrowth is different for each person, and not everyone will respond to minoxidil. The response to minoxidil cannot be predicted, and it is unlikely that anyone will be able to grow back all their hair.

Cons:

- May cause itching, redness, or burning of the scalp
- May not work for everyone
Ingredients:
- Active ingredient: 5% Minoxidil w/w (without propellant)
- Inactive ingredients: butane, butylated hydroxytoluene, cetyl alcohol, citric acid, glycerin, isobutane, lactic acid, polysorbate 60, propane, purified water, SD alcohol 40-B, stearyl alcohol
It is important to note that minoxidil will not prevent or improve hair loss which may occur with the use of some prescription and non-prescription medications, certain severe nutritional problems, low thyroid states, chemotherapy, or diseases which cause scarring of the scalp. It is also not used for sudden/patchy hair loss, unexplained hair loss, or hair loss after giving birth. If you experience continued itching, redness, or burning of your scalp after using minoxidil, or if your hair loss continues after 2 weeks, you should consult your doctor.
