Duac cream is a combination medicine used to treat acne. It contains two active ingredients: benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin phosphate. Benzoyl peroxide has an antibacterial effect and can stop the growth of acne-causing bacteria, as well as reduce oil production in the skin, helping keep pores open. Clindamycin is an antibiotic that prevents bacteria from growing on the skin.
