Product Details:

Eumovate cream is a moderately potent topical corticosteroid indicated for adults, elderly, children, and infants for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of steroid-responsive dermatoses. It contains the active ingredient clobetasone butyrate, which belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids. Corticosteroids help to reduce redness, swelling, and inflammation. Eumovate cream is a water-miscible cream that contains 0.05% w/w clobetasone butyrate.

Ingredients or Materials:

Eumovate cream contains the following ingredients:

  • Clobetasone butyrate (0.05% w/w)
  • Cetostearyl alcohol
  • Chlorocresol
  • Beeswax substitute 6621
  • Citric acid monohydrate
  • Paraffin

Cetostearyl alcohol is an emulsifying wax that helps to mix oil and water-based ingredients. Chlorocresol is a preservative that helps to prevent the growth of bacteria and fungi. Beeswax substitute 6621 is a synthetic wax that helps to thicken the cream and improve its texture. Citric acid monohydrate is a weak organic acid that helps to adjust the pH of the cream. Paraffin is a mineral oil that helps to moisturize the skin.

Negative:
