Evidence Central is a project and resource platform developed primarily by Book of Mormon Central, launched in September 2020. Its purpose is to centralize and make accessible scholarly and academic evidence supporting the Restoration, particularly related to the Book of Mormon and other Restoration texts. The platform presents complex research in user-friendly summaries categorized through an interactive website interface, aiming to strengthen faith and support those struggling with doubts by providing comprehensive evidence that is understandable and defensible. Evidence Central is designed to serve several audiences: scholars, who benefit from consolidated research; those with strong testimonies, who gain enriched understanding; and individuals with wavering faith, who may find tools and information to help address questions and doubts. It emphasizes the convergence of multiple lines of evidence rather than relying on a single "silver bullet," and it complements spiritual evidence, which holds a unique and significant role in personal faith. The initiative focuses on positive evidence of the Restoration rather than responding primarily to criticisms, and it aims to make scholarly research accessible to a faith-based audience with a balanced approach that includes intellectual inquiry and spiritual confirmation. In addition to the digital platform, Evidence Central includes a YouTube channel and a Facebook page to disseminate its content. As of now, it features over 200 individual evidence articles and continues to expand its repository of evidence articles supporting the Restoration.
