To enter the ruins in the "A Bird in the Hand" quest in Hogwarts Legacy, you need to solve a light and pillar puzzle at the main door:
- Use the Accio spell to drag and rotate two pillars around a circular base near the door.
- Observe which symbols on the door are lit up (e.g., sun symbol, key symbol).
- Find the corresponding symbols on the floor around the pillars.
- Stand on a symbol on the floor, then go to the exact opposite side of the circle.
- Rotate the pillar so it locks into a small socket opposite the symbol you stood on; this will reflect light onto the corresponding symbol on the door.
- Repeat the process for each lit symbol until all are glowing.
- Once all symbols are properly lit by the reflected light, the door to the ruins will open
This puzzle is essentially about aligning the pillars to reflect light onto the correct symbols to unlock the door.
