Positive:
- Finasteride can reduce symptoms of BPH, such as difficulty urinating, a decreased flow of urination, hesitation at the beginning of urination, and a need to get up at night to urinate.

Each tablet contains 1 mg of finasteride USP and the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, docusate sodium, talc, sodium starch glycolate type A potato, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, yellow iron oxide, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol, and iron oxide red.
- Finasteride tablets USP for oral administration are film-coated tablets that contain 5 mg of finasteride and the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, sodium starch glycolate, docusate sodium, magnesium stearate, opadry blue (FD&C blue #2 aluminium lake, hypromellose, talc, titanium dioxide, yellow iron oxide).
- FINASTERIDE-1MG comes as a tan, octagonal, film-coated convex tablet embossed with "71" on one side. Each tablet contains 1 mg of finasteride and the following inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinised maize starch, sodium starch glycollate, docusate sodium, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, hydroxypropylcellulose, titanium dioxide, purified talc, iron oxide yellow CI77492, and iron oxide red CI77491.
