The Alabama stadium, known as Bryant-Denny Stadium, currently has a seating capacity of 100,077. It is one of the largest on-campus football stadiums in America and has undergone several expansions since it opened in 1929. The stadium was expanded most recently in 2010 to a capacity of 101,821 but later modifications adjusted the capacity slightly to the current figure of 100,077. It is a prominent college football venue and ranks among the largest stadiums in the Southeastern Conference and the nation.
