Algonquin Park covers an area of approximately 7,630 to 7,725 square kilometers (about 2,946 to 2,983 square miles). It is a vast wilderness area, larger than Prince Edward Island and roughly the size of the combined US states of Delaware and Rhode Island. Algonquin Park is one of the largest and oldest provincial parks in Canada, featuring extensive forests, lakes, and diverse wildlife.
