Lake Windermere has a maximum depth of about 64 to 67 meters (approximately 210 to 220 feet) depending on the source. It is the deepest lake in England after Wastwater, with a length of around 10.5 to 11 miles and a width up to 1 mile. The average depth is about 21.3 meters (70 feet).
