Loch Lomond has a maximum depth of about 190 meters (623 feet) in its deeper northern portion. The average depth of the loch is around 37 meters (121 feet). The southern part of the loch is much shallower, generally less than 30 meters (98 feet) deep. The deepest point is near Inversnaid in the northern section of the loch.
