Christopher "Big Black" Boykin, co-star of MTV's show Rob & Big, died at age 45 from a heart attack. He had a long history of congenital heart failure and had been hospitalized several times in the year before his death. He also had a defibrillator implanted in his chest for over 10 years to help manage his heart condition. Despite doing everything he could medically to prevent his heart issues, including frequent doctor visits and health precautions, he succumbed to heart failure at a hospital in Plano, Texas, in May 2017. He is survived by his 9-year-old daughter Isis. His death was deeply mourned by friends, family, and fans, including Rob Dyrdek, his close friend and co-star.
