Charlie Kirk met his wife, Erika Frantzve, in 2018. They had a very long first dinner, which Charlie described as almost like an interview, and he knew "almost immediately" that Erika was the one for him. They began dating soon after that first meeting. Erika later recalled their first date, where they sat inside Bill's Burgers in New York City, deeply engaged in conversation about theology, philosophy, and politics, ending with Charlie telling her, "I'm going to date you." They got engaged in December 2020 and married in a very intimate ceremony in Scottsdale, Arizona, in May 2021. Their relationship was deeply guided by their Christian faith.
