how did genghis khan died

Genghis Khan died in August 1227 during a campaign against the Western Xia kingdom. The exact cause of his death remains uncertain and is the subject of many theories. Some sources state he fell ill with a fever and died within eight days, with possible diseases including bubonic plague, typhoid, or other infectious diseases.
