Charlie Kirk, a conservative political activist and co-founder of Turning Point USA, died after being fatally shot in the neck on September 10, 2025. He was speaking at an event called the "American Comeback Tour" at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah when a single shot was fired from a rooftop approximately 142 to 200 yards away, striking him in the neck. Kirk went limp and was immediately rushed to a hospital but later died from his injuries. The shooting shocked the nation and led to a manhunt for the suspect, who was later apprehended. Kirk was 31 years old and left behind a wife and two children.
