Kirk Medas, known for his role on MTV's Floribama Shore , died at the age of 33 on May 2, 2025. He had been hospitalized for about two weeks with a severe case of necrotizing pancreatitis, a condition where inflammation of the pancreas causes tissue death. During his hospitalization, he was sedated and placed on a ventilator due to the severity of his illness. According to his father and multiple reports, the immediate cause of death was complications from liver failure related to his pancreatitis
