Lexie Hull got a black eye due to a scary head-to-head collision with Seattle Storm's Gabby Williams during a Fever game. The incident happened early in the first quarter when both players went for a loose ball, resulting in them colliding and falling to the floor. Hull suffered a knot and swelling on her forehead initially, but the next day, the swelling almost disappeared, and she developed two massive black eyes, often called "raccoon eyes," from the impact. Despite the injury, she continued to play and was cleared to return to the court. She even had a photoshoot shortly after the injury and relied on a makeup artist to help conceal the black eyes for it. Hull maintained a positive and tough attitude throughout her recovery and continued to contribute to her team's efforts in the season.
