how did monita celebrate her independence day

Monita celebrated her Independence Day by joining a school parade at her school. She was chosen as the class representative and dressed up as Cut Nyak Dien, an Indonesian hero. During the parade, Monita and other students sang the "Hari Merdeka" song and were followed by a marching band. The parade was interrupted by rain, causing the students to run back to their classrooms, but after the rain stopped, they gathered again in the schoolyard for the announcement of the best costume. Although Monita did not win the best costume prize, she enjoyed the event and felt proud to celebrate Independence Day this way.
