Ol’ Dirty Bastard (Russell Tyrone Jones) died on November 13, 2004. The autopsy determined the cause as an accidental overdose from a lethal combination of cocaine and the prescription painkiller tramadol, with the death ruled accidental by medical examiners. He collapsed at RZA’s recording studio in New York City and was pronounced dead at the scene.
