The two hunters in Colorado, Andrew Porter and Ian Stasko, both 25, died under circumstances that are still under investigation, with no signs of trauma or foul play found on their bodies. They went missing while elk hunting in the Rio Grande National Forest on September 11, 2025, and their bodies were found about a week later, around September 18. Their vehicle was located with camping gear and wet clothing inside, suggesting they might have encountered bad weather, possibly rainstorms, which is considered a dangerous risk in that area. No clear cause of death has been confirmed yet, though hypothermia due to inclement weather is suspected. Autopsies were scheduled to provide more definitive answers.
